Premier Volleyball League 14th Season Reinforced Open Conference
The 2017 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the first conference of the Premier Volleyball League and the 2017 season. The conference started on April 30, 2017 and concluded on June 13, 2017. All elimination round games were played at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan while the semifinals and Finals games were held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig. The women's tournament was supposed to feature the use of foreign reinforcements, however, they were initially unable to play due to difficulty in securing their international transfer certificates (ITC) from the FIVB. On May 17, 2017, Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI) confirmed that the FIVB has approved the ITC requests for the imports. The imports began to play on May 18, 2017. Premier Volleyball League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in the Philippines organized by the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The PVL was established in 2004 as the inter-collegiate Shakey's V-League (SVL) until it rebranded to the current entity in 2017. Prior to becoming a full-fledged professional league in 2021, the PVL was open to participation of corporate owned semi-professional clubs and non-collegiate teams backed by local governments. The PVL previously operated men's and collegiate divisions before they were spun-off into Spikers' Turf and the V-League (Philippines), V-League, respectively, both are also operated by Sports Vision. Dzi Gervacio
Angeline Marie Gervacio, also known as Dzi Gervacio, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a former Ateneo Lady Eagles player and is the team manager for the Nxled Chameleons. She is known as the Queen of Jump Serve. Early life and education Gervacio attended St. Scholastica's College, Manila and Ateneo de Manila University. Career Gervacio won the WNCAA Juniors Division Best Attacker award in 2006 and 2007. Jerry Yee (born April 14, 1974) is a Filipino volleyball coach who is the head coach of the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles of the Premier Volleyball League, the UE Lady Red Warriors of the UAAP, and the Benilde Lady Blazers of the NCAA. Beach Volleyball Republic, Inc. (BVR) is an organization aimed at the development of beach volleyball in the Philippines. It was formed in June 2015.
