Kiran Kumar (born 22 October 1976), known by his screen name Prem's, is an Indian film director in Kannada cinema. Personal life Prem was born as Kiran Kumar on 22 October 1976 in Maddur, in the Mandya district of the Indian state of Karnataka, to Rajappa and Bhagyamma. He is married to actress-turned-producer Rakshita and they have a son named Surya. Career Prem started his career as assistant director on the film '' Nishkarsha'' (1993), working with Sunil Kumar Desai, while he was pursuing his pre-university course. Upon completion of the film, he returned to his hometown Mandya to complete the course before returning to Bangalore. He proceeded to work as an associate director with G. K. Mudduraj on ''Rayara Maga'' (1994) and ''Kannamuchchale''; Dorai–Bhagavan; and with A. R. Babu on '' Hello Yama''. Maddur (also pronounced as Maddūru) is one of the taluks of Mandya district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It lies on the banks of the river Shimsha. It is 82 kilometers from the state capital Bangalore and 60 kilometers from Mysore. ''Jogi'' is a 2005 Indian Kannada-language action film written and directed by Prem (film director), Prem. It stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jennifer Kotwal and Arundathi Nag. The movie released on 19 August 2005. Record box office collection was reported across Karnataka and the movie completed 100 days in more than 61 theaters. The film was noted for its technical prowess, colloquial Kannada dialogue and lyrics. Its story revolves around an old lady who comes to the city from her village in search of her presumably lost son. Dhruva Sarja (born 6 October 1988) is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada films. He made his acting debut in the 2012 film, '' Addhuri''. Early life Dhruva's elder brother Chiranjeevi Sarja, who was also an actor in Kannada films, died on 7 June 2020. The Sarja family originally hails from Sarjapura. ''Subramaniapuram'' is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action film written, produced, and directed by Sasikumar.
