''Pranayakalam'' (English: ''Season of Love'') is a 2007 Indian Malayalam romantic film directed by débutant Uday Ananthan and starring Ajmal Ameer and Vimala Raman. Cast Music The music for the film was composed by Ouseppachan. The lyrics were written by Rafeeq Ahamed, who won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his work in the film. Murali (Malayalam Actor)
Muraleedharan Pillai, popularly known as Murali (25 May 1954 – 6 August 2009) was an Indian film, stage and television actor and author. He mainly appeared in Malayalam films and a few Tamil films. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Appa Mestry, a communist freedom fighter and professional weaver in the 2002 film '' Neythukaran''. Rafeeq Ahamed
Rafeeq Ahamed (born 17 December 1961) is an Indian poet, lyricist and novelist. He has won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Poetry and is a six-time winner of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyrics. With more than 600 songs to his credit, Rafeeq Ahamed is regarded as the most successful and critically acclaimed lyricist of contemporary Malayalam films. Early life Rafeeq Ahamed was born to Syed Sajjad Hussain and Thithayikutty on 17 December 1961 in Akkikavu, Thrissur district. He graduated in English literature from Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur. Ajmal Ameer is an Indian actor known for his works in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam, Tamil cinema, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, Telugu language films. Kerala State Film Award For Best Lyricist
The Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyricist is an honour, begun in 1969, presented annually at the Kerala State Film Awards of India to a lyricist for best lyrics in a Malayalam cinema, Malayalam film. Until 1997, the awards were managed directly by the Department of Information and Public Relations (Kerala), Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of Kerala. Since 1998, the awards have been constituted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, an autonomous, non-profit institution functioning under the Department of Cultural Affairs (Kerala). Shanthakumari Nambiar, known by her stage name Seema, is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam cinema. Actor Vijayan gave her the screen name "Seema". Palappurathu Keshavan Surendranatha Thilakan (15 July 1935 – 24 September 2012) was an Indian film and stage actor who appeared in over 200 Malayalam films.
