Prague Speedway
Prague Speedway has consisted of several former motorcycle speedway teams and stadia and the current team known as AK Markéta Praha, who race at the Markéta Stadium. History 1928 to 1992 The origins of speedway in Prague can be traced back to races held at the Stadion Letná, starting on 9 June 1928 and these were soon followed by meetings at the Great Strahov Stadium on 14 May 1933 and the Žižkov TJ Sokol Stadium on 11 April 1934. Following the end of World War II, the Czechoslovak military began forming sports teams and regional and national competitions. In 1953, a law (following the Soviet model) determined that all clubs should be voluntary sports societies, with athletes being allocated to clubs according to their civic occupations. Real Socialism
Real socialism, better known as actually existing socialism was an ideological catchphrase popularized during the Brezhnev era in the Eastern Bloc countries and the Soviet Union. The term referred to the Soviet-type economic planning implemented by the Eastern Bloc at that particular time. From the 1960s onward, Communist states such as Poland, East Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia began to argue that their policies represented what was realistically feasible given their level of productivity. The concept of real socialism alluded to a highly developed socialist system in the future. The actual party claims of nomenclatory socialism began to acquire not only negative, but also sarcastic meanings. Čakovice
Čakovice (German ''Tschakowitz'') is a municipal district (''městská část'') in Prague. It is located in the north-eastern part of the city. As of 2021, there were 11,984 inhabitants living in Čakovice. The municipal district consists of three cadastral areas (''katastrální území''): Čakovice, Miškovice and Třeboradice.
