Prafulla Samal
Prafulla Samal (born 15 August 1947 Bhadrak) is an Indian politician and currently a member of the Biju Janata Party. He joined Odisha politics in 1971. In 1995, he was elected as an MLA from Bhadrak Constituency as a representative of the Janata Party in the 10th Legislative Assembly. Later, he was elected to the Legislature from Bhadrak as a Janata Party representative in the 11th and 12th Legislature, and as a Biju Janata Party representative in the 15th and 16th Legislature from Bhandaripokhari. In the 14th Legislature, Prof. Prafulla Samal is an Indian politician from Odisha. He was a six times elected Member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly from 1990, 1995, 2001(bypoll), 2009, 2014, and 2019, representing the Bhadrak and Bhandaripokhari assembly.
