Pozharan
Požaranje (in Serbian; Пожарање), or Pozharan (in Albanian) is a town in the Viti, southeast Kosovo. History Until 1975, it was known as Požeranje (Пожерање) and had been the seat of its municipality. Demographics According to the 2011 census the population is 4,247, of which 99,53% are ethnic Albanians. Viti, Kosovo
Viti ( sq-definite, Vitia) or Vitina ( sr-Cyrl, Витина) is a town and municipality located in the District of Gjilan in Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Viti has 4,924 inhabitants, while the municipality has 46,987 inhabitants. Geography The town of Viti and the southern part of the Municipality lies on the foothills of the Skopska Crna Gora Mountains. History Ottoman period The municipality has several settlements historically inhabited by the Laramans, crypto-Catholics. Kosovo War and aftermath During the Kosovo War 16 KLA soldiers, as well as 5 Serb soldiers and policemen were killed in Viti. The entire fighting happened in 1999 and in the southern part of the municipality, near the Karadak Mountains, in villages such as Lubishtë, Gjylekare, Mogillë, Smirë, Kabash and Dëbëlldeh. The District of Gjilan (; ) is one of the seven Districts of Kosovo, districts (the higher-level administrative divisions) of Kosovo. Its seat is in the city of Gjilan. The 2017–18 Football Superleague of Kosovo season, also known as the Vala Superleague of Kosovo for sponsorship reasons, was the 19th season of top-tier football in Kosovo. The season began on 18 August 2017 and concluded on 20 May 2018. Trepça'89 are the defending champions from the previous season. A total of 12 teams are competing in the league: nine teams from the 2016–17 season and three promoted from the 2016–17 First League. Teams and stadiums Trepça and Hajvalia were relegated after finishing the previous season in eleventh and twelfth-place respectively.
