Powerman Duathlons are duathlon events that are competed over middle distance (10 km run, 60 km bike, 10 km run) to long distance (10 km run, 150 km bike, 30 km run) duathlons across the globe at both Age Group and Elite level. The Powerman Zofingen is a duathlon event in Zofingen ( Switzerland) within the Powerman Duathlon World Series. On September 3, 2017, the world championships in the long distance was held for the tenth time in Zofingen, canton Argovia. The official name is '' ITU Powerman Long Distance Duathlon World Championships.'' A duathlon consists of a running distance, a cycling lane and then again a running distance, which are carried out directly behind each other. Since 2002, the long-distance duathlon in Zofingen has the sequence of 10 km (6.21 miles) running, 150 km (93.21 mi) cycling and 30 km (18.64 mi) running. Powerman 5000 (also known as PM5K) is an American rock band formed in 1991. The group has released ten albums, gaining its highest level of commercial success with 1999's '' Tonight the Stars Revolt!'', which reached number 29 on the ''Billboard'' 200 while spawning the singles " When Worlds Collide" and " Nobody's Real". ''Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One'', commonly abbreviated to ''Lola Versus Powerman'', or simply ''Lola'', is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Kinks, recorded and released in 1970. A concept album, it is a satirical appraisal of the music industry, including song publishers, unions, the press, accountants, business managers, and life on the road. Musically ''Lola Versus Powerman'' is varied, described by Stephen Thomas Erlewine as "a wildly unfocused but nonetheless dazzling ''tour de force''", containing some of Ray Davies's strongest songs. ''Powerman'' is a British comic book series that was initially distributed in Nigeria in the mid-1970s. ''Powerman'' was written by Don Avenall (aka Donne Avenell) and Norman Worker, and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and Brian Bolland. Rendered in a simple style reminiscent of the Golden Age Captain Marvel, the series starred a superhero named Powerman. When the comics were re-published in the United Kingdom the character's name became ''Powerbolt''. The ''Powerman'' comics also feature a backup series called ''Jango'', about a black sheriff.
