Powerade Team Pilipinas
2009 Philippines men's FIBA Asia Championship team, also known as Powerade-Team Pilipinas was the basketball team that represented the Philippines in international competitions from 2008 to 2009. The team was organized by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) sponsored by Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines. The team succeeded San Miguel-Team Pilipinas. Formation After Yeng Guiao's appointed as head coach of the new Philippine team (Team Pilipinas), he started to form a national team for the 2009 SEABA Championship, selecting Asi Taulava, Kerby Raymundo, Mick Pennisi, Gabe Norwood, Jayjay Helterbrand, James Yap, Cyrus Baguio, Ryan Reyes, Willie Miller, Jared Dillinger, Ranidel de Ocampo at Arwind Santos. 2009 FIBA Asia Championship
The 2009 in sports, 2009 FIBA Asia Championship for Men was the biennial Asian continental championship and also served as the FIBA Asia qualifying tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. Arwind Santos
Arwind Anaya Santos (; born June 10, 1981) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Basilan Viva Portmasters of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Amateur career High school career Born in Angeles City, Philippines, Santos played for Lubao Institute during his high school career and won the West Central Zone Championship. In 2000, he became well known during zonal competitions because of his hard work on the basketball court. He was then included in the line up of RQP (Rodolfo Q. Yang Hee-jong (born 11 May 1984) is a South Korean former professional basketball player. Early life Yang is a native of Suwon and had been a star taekwondo athlete in elementary school but his PE teacher suggested that he try basketball as he was taller than his peers. As a student at Samil Commercial High School, Yang quickly drew the attention of college basketball recruiters as well as youth national team selectors after they won the school's first ever basketball tournament. College career Yang played college basketball for Yonsei University. Kosuke Takeuchi (竹内 公輔、born January 29, 1985 in Suita, Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese professional basketball player. He plays for the Utsunomiya Brex of the B.League. Willie V. Miller Jr. (born July 13, 1977) is a Filipino professional basketball coach and former player. He is an assistant coach for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He last played for the Pilipinas MX3 Kings of the ASEAN Basketball League. He has started at the point guard position mostly but could also play the shooting guard spot.
