Power Glove (band)
Power Glove is an Australian electronic music and synthwave (2000s genre), synthwave duo from Melbourne, Victoria, named after the Power Glove made by Mattel for the Nintendo Entertainment System. They provided the soundtrack to the 1980s-influenced retro-futuristic video game ''Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon'' (April 2013). The soundtrack was met with critical acclaim. History Power Glove was formed in Melbourne as the electronic music, synthwave (2000s genre), synthwave duo with the pseudonyms of Michael Biehn and Michael Dudikoff, whose real names are brothers Jarome and Joel Harmsworth. Powerglove (band)
Powerglove is an American instrumental power metal cover band. They are known to play metal cover versions of classic video game themes. The band is named after the Power Glove, a NES controller accessory. History Formation, ''Total Pwnage'', and ''Metal Kombat'' (2003 - 2008) The band was started as a side project of the members' various other bands. A melodic death metal band all the members were in disbanded, and the group decided to further develop Powerglove. The band's first recording was "Dr. Wily's Theme" from ''Mega Man 2'' in early 2003, which was followed by "Storm Eagle" from ''Mega Man X'' and the theme from ''Mighty Morphin Power Rangers''. ''The ABCs of Death'' is a 2012 American comedy horror anthology film produced by international producers and directed by filmmakers from around the world. The film contains 26 shorts, each by different directors spanning fifteen countries, including Nacho Vigalondo, Kaare Andrews, Adam Wingard, Simon Barrett, Banjong Pisanthanakun, Ben Wheatley, Lee Hardcastle, Noboru Iguchi, Ti West, and Angela Bettis. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012. In 2013, it was released on VOD January 31 and in theaters March 8.
