Power (basketball)
Power is an American men's 3-on-3 basketball team that plays in the BIG3 league. They are the 2018 BIG3 season champions. History 2017 Draft Season Performance Power were one of the teams who made the playoffs at the end of the BIG3 inaugural season of 2017. Their run quickly ended with a semifinal loss to the 3 Headed Monsters. They lost a consolation game the next week, and finished 4th overall. 2018 Draft Season Performance Power went on to win the BIG3 championship in 2018. It was their first championship. 2019 Draft As the reigning champs, Power did not have the opportunity to make a draft selection but they kept all six players from last year's squad. Season Performance Power made the playoffs for the third consecutive year in 2019. Big3 (stylized BIG3) is a 3-on-3 basketball league founded by hip hop musician and actor Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. The league consists of 12 teams whose rosters include both former NBA players and international players. The rules of Big3 games contain deviations from the official rules of 3-on-3 basketball as administered by FIBA. In January 2020, Big3 announced its rule set would be the core of a new basketball variant called "Fireball3" (stylized ''FIREBALL3''). South Bay Lakers
The South Bay Lakers are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the team is owned by the Los Angeles Lakers, who were the first National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise to own a D-League team. At the conclusion of the 2016–17 D-League season, the D-Fenders re-branded as the South Bay Lakers for the G League. They also moved their home games from the Toyota Sports Center into the UCLA Health Training Center, a new practice facility for the Los Angeles Lakers in El Segundo. Xavier James Silas (born January 22, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player and current head coach for the Mets de Guaynabo of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN), the highest professional basketball league in Puerto Rico. He played college basketball for the University of Colorado at Boulder and Northern Illinois University. High school and college career Silas grew up in Austin, Texas, where he attended Stephen F. Austin High School before moving to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, to attend Brewster Academy for a postgraduate year. In 2005–06, he averaged 12.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for Brewster Academy. Ronald Glen "Big Baby" Davis (born January 1, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player. He played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, and the St. John’s Edge. After playing college basketball with LSU, Davis was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics with the 35th overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Deshawn Stevenson
DeShawn Stevenson (born April 3, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. Stevenson played for six teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during a 13-year career. He originally committed to play at the University of Kansas, but decided to enter the NBA directly from high school and was picked by the Utah Jazz with the 23rd selection of the 2000 NBA draft. He was a member of the Dallas Mavericks team that won an NBA championship in 2011. In 2017, Stevenson joined Power, one of the eight BIG3 basketball league teams. Corey Antoine Maggette (; born November 12, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player who played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He became an analyst for Fox Sports. High school and college career Maggette excelled at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois where he was an All-American in basketball. Bàsquet Club Andorra S.A., also known as MoraBanc Andorra for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team that is based in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. Though based in Andorra, the club plays in the Spanish basketball league system. The team plays in the LEB Oro with home games played at the Poliesportiu d'Andorra. Glen Anthony Rice Jr. (born January 1, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Brillantes del Zulia of the Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto (SPB). Joe Alexander (ג'ו אלכסנדר; born December 26, 1986) is a Taiwanese-born American-Israeli professional basketball player for Maccabi Haifa of the Israeli Liga Leumit. Alexander, who at plays both forward positions, was selected for the 2007 All- Big East squad during his collegiate career with West Virginia and was an All-American Honorable Mention.
