Jakob Poulsen
Jakob Bendix Uhd Poulsen (born 7 July 1983) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and current head coach of Danish Superliga club AGF. Poulsen started his senior career with Esbjerg fB, before moving to Dutch side SC Heerenveen in 2006. He joined AGF Aarhus in the summer of 2008. His last club was Australian A-League club Melbourne Victory FC. Between 2009 and 2015 he played 35 games and scored two goals for the Denmark national team. In late 2023, Poulsen received his first opportunity as head coach when then-manager Jacob Friis left Viborg for another position. Initially receiving the role on an interim basis, Poulsen was given the permanent head coaching position in December 2023. Christian Bjørnshøj Poulsen (; born 28 February 1980) is a Danish former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Christian Poulsen (Rind, 16 August 1912 – 19 April 1981) was a Danish chess master. Poulsen worked on a farm in Denmark from the age of seven with his brothers, and never attended any kind of formal schooling. At a young age, he helped with efforts to make the usually infertile land of Jutland suitable for farming. He married a Swedish women with the last name of Hallgren, and had a son with her, who took the name of Øjvin Hallgren. He won twice in Danish Chess Championship (1945, 1952), and thrice shared 1st but lost playoff matches for the title in 1939, 1940, and 1951.
