AS Postimees Grupp (also known in English as Postimees Group), formerly known as AS Postimees and AS Eesti Meedia, is an Estonian media holding company headquartered in Tallinn. The company is currently owned by MM Group (an investment company in which entrepreneur Margus Linnamäe has most shares), having acquired the half of the company from Norwegian company Schibsted in 2013 and bought the remaining half in 2015. The group is one of the largest media group in the Baltics. Among the Group's activities are creation of print and online media, production of television and radio, e-commerce. Viljandi County ( or ''Viljandimaa''; ) is one of 15 counties of Estonia. It is located in southern Estonia bordering Pärnu, Järva, Jõgeva, Tartu and Valga counties as well as Latvia. Jüri Pihel
Jüri () is a Populated places in Estonia, small borough () in Harju County, northern Estonia. It is located southeast of the capital Tallinn, by the European route E263, Tallinn–Tartu road (E263), directly after the intersection with Tallinn Ring Road (nr. 11). Jüri is the administrative centre of Rae Parish. Jüri has a population of 3,594 as of 1 June 2023. In 2011, Jüri was the center of population of Estonia. Jüri has grown out of two parts: the centre of Sommerling Kolkhoz (former Rosenhagen Manor) in the west and a construction industry base with a residential area (former Jüri church and village) in the east. Kanal 2 is a privately owned Estonian television channel. Its literal name in English is "Channel 2". History The channel was established by Ilmar Taska. The channel started broadcasting on 1 October 1993, the first program seen on the new network being the Estonian animated film Kapsapea (Cabbage Head). The channel in its initial phase broadcast on weekends, beginning 17 December that year, week-round broadcasts started. On 1 August 2017, Kanal 2 left the free-to-air market and became encrypted. Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR) – ''Estonian Public Broadcasting'' – is a publicly funded and owned radio and television organisation created in Estonia on 1 June 2007 to take over the functions of the formerly separate Eesti Raadio (ER) (''Estonian Radio'') and Eesti Televisioon (ETV) (''Estonian Television''), under the terms of the Estonian National Broadcasting Act. The Baltic News Service (BNS) is the largest news agency operating in the Baltic States. Founded in April 1990, by a group of students (the founding CEO was Allan Martinson), it sought to inform foreign correspondents in Moscow of developments in the Baltic States' struggles for independence from the Soviet Union. Järva County
Järva County ( or ''Järvamaa''; ; ) is one of 15 counties of Estonia. It is situated in the central part of the country and borders Lääne-Viru County to the east, Jõgeva County to the south-east, Viljandi County to the south, Pärnu County to the south-west, Rapla County to the west, and Harju County to the north.
