Positiva Records is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group and concentrates on releasing dance music in the United Kingdom, UK. The record label was set up in 1993 in music, 1993, by Nick Halkes, who previously ran XL Recordings. Its headquarters are at the Universal UK offices (formerly at EMI offices in Brook Green in West London), where it is the only large dance music label under the EMI banner. Toca's Miracle
"Toca's Miracle" is a release by German vocal trance group Fragma featuring vocals from British singer Coco Star. Taken as the second single off Fragma's debut studio album, ''Toca (album), Toca'' (2001), the song is a mashup (music), mashup of Coco's "I Need a Miracle (Coco Star song), I Need a Miracle" (1996) and Fragma's own "Toca Me". Judy Cheeks
Judy Cheeks (born February 13, 1954) is an American singer. In the 1970s and 1980s, she recorded as a soul and R&B singer, before releasing more dance-oriented music in the 1990s. Cheeks performed with Ike & Tina Turner as an Ikette. She also worked as a backing vocalist for various artists such as Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Amanda Lear, and David Knopfler. "1998" is an instrumental music track by British trance act Binary Finary, originally released in 1997 on the Aquarius label with "Zapya" as the B-side. When released the following year in 1998 on the Positiva label, the single peaked at No. 24 on the UK Singles Chart. The track was subsequently remixed numerous times under the title of the year the remix was produced (i.e. "1999", "2000", etc.). "1999" peaked at No. 11 and "2000" reached No. 84 in the UK. Reel 2 Real was an American hip house musical project that had seven top 10 hits on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the 1990s. Biography The duo consisted of American DJ Erick Morillo and Trinidadian rapper Mark Quashie, also known as The Mad Stuntman. The Bucketheads
Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez (born June 7, 1970), also sometimes known as K-Dope, is an American record producer and disc jockey. He is one half of the classic house music Masters at Work musical production team with Little Louie Vega; and also released the hit " The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind)" as The Bucketheads. Biography Gonzalez started his DJ career in 1985 organizing neighborhood block parties in his home of Brooklyn, New York, with his then musical partner, Mike Delgado. Under the Masters at Work moniker, the parties became quite successful and attracted Todd Terry who later borrowed the group's name for two record releases.
