Reginald Le Borg
Reginald LeBorg (born Harry Gröbel; 11 December 1902 – 25 March 1989) was an Austrian-American film director. He directed 68 films between 1936 and 1974. Film career In 1934, he moved to Hollywood, California to seek employment as a screenwriter, adopting the forename "Reginald" (from his mother's name) and spelling his family name backwards to create the professional surname "LeBorg". ''Columbia Pictures'' hired him to stage and direct the opera scenes for the musical ''Love Me Forever (film), Love Me Forever'' (1934) starring opera diva Grace Moore. He was enlisted to stage other opera scenes for a number of major and independent studios. During this period he studied the craft of film editing and occasionally played bit parts in films directed by Josef von Sternberg. On 27 July 1937, LeBorg became a US citizen. Rudolph Sternad (October 6, 1906 – April 23, 1963) was an American art director and production designer. He was nominated for three Academy Awards in the category Best Art Direction. He was a frequent collaborator of producer-director Stanley Kramer, working with him on virtually all of the films that Kramer directed, and many famous ones that he only produced, such as ''High Noon'', ''Cyrano de Bergerac'', and '' The Men''. Martín Garralaga (10 November 1894 – 12 June 1981) was a Spanish actor who worked in Hollywood from the 1930s through the 1960s. He was married to opera singer and actress Rosa Rey. Biography Garralaga first came to the United States when he sailed from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to San Juan, Puerto Rico, on the steamship ''Catherine'' in April 1924. He acted in more than two hundred roles in film and television and is probably best known for his portrayal of "Pancho" in the early Cisco Kid films. In 1958, Garralaga was cast as Ramirez in the episode "A Tree for Planting" of the CBS western television series, '' The Texan''. Radio career Novello began his 47-year acting career in the 1930s, performing as a character on radio. He played Jack Packard on the Hollywood version of '' I Love a Mystery''.
