Porsche Carrera Cup Brasil
The Porsche Carrera Cup Brasil and Porsche Sprint Challenge Brasil are the first ever one-make championships of Porsche in the continent of South America. It was first contested in 2005 and follows the same formula basis used in the Porsche Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup championships held around the world. One-design racing is a racing method which may be adopted in sports using complex equipment, whereby all vehicles have identical or very similar designs or models, avoiding the need for a handicap system. Motorsport One-make racing series (also known as spec racing series) are racing series in which all competitors race with identical or very similar vehicles from the same manufacturer and suppliers. Typically, this means the same type of chassis, powertrain, tyres, brakes, and fuel are used by all drivers. The idea behind one-make car racing is that success will be based more on driver skill and car setup, instead of engineering skill and budget. 2017 Porsche GT3 Cup Brasil
The 2017 Porsche Impテゥrio GT3 Cup Challenge Brasil is the first one-make Porsche racing championship in South America for 911 GT3 Cup cars and this was the thirteenth season. It started on March 18 with a Sprint race in Curitiba and finished on December 2 with an Endurance race in Sテ」o Paulo. Autテウdromo Internacional de Curitiba (also known as Autテウdromo de Pinhais and Circuito Raul Boesel) was a motorsports circuit located in Pinhais, Brazil. It has been host to the World Touring Car Championship, TC2000, Fテウrmula Truck and Stock Car Brasil racing. Until 2013 the circuit has also been host of the South American Formula 3 Series, namely the Formula 3 Sudamericana. The circuit also formerly hosted the Brazilian Formula Three Championship. The circuit also hosted the "Festival Brasileiro de Arrancada", from 1992 to 2016, which was the biggest drag racing event in Latin America. The Autテウdromo Josテゥ Carlos Pace, better known as Autテウdromo de Interlagos or simply Interlagos, is a motorsport race track, circuit located in the city of Sテ」o Paulo, Brazil. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener of the Sテ」o Paulo province, Adhemar de Barros. In 1985, the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver Carlos Pace, Josテゥ Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. It runs counterclockwise and is long.
