Poppy Cleall
Poppy Cleall (born 12 June 1992) is an English rugby union player. She also plays for Saracens Women at club level. She is the 2021 Six Nations Player of the Year, England Player of the year and the leading all time Premiership try scorer. She was nominated for World Player of the Year in 2021. She has won 5 Grand Slams and 4 Premiership Titles with Saracens. International career Cleall made her England debut at the 2016 Women's Six Nations Championship. In 2017 she featured in every game of the 2017 Six Nations in which England won the Grand Slam. The same year, she was selected for the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup team as an injury replacement; England reached the final of the tournament. The following year she again played for England's 2018 Six Nations team, switching between flanker, No. 8 and second row. 2020 Women's Six Nations Championship
The 2020 Women's Six Nations Championship was the 19th series of the Women's Six Nations Championship, an annual women's rugby union competition between six European rugby union national teams. Matches were originally scheduled for February and March 2020, on the same weekends as the men's tournament, if not always the same day. Seven matches in the tournament were postponed due to health and safety reasons. The match between Scotland and England was originally scheduled for Sunday 9 February but was postponed to the following day with no public admission due to Storm Ciara. The game between Ireland and Wales was played as planned on 9 February. Hannah Botterman (born 8 June 1999) is an English rugby union prop who represents Saracens Women in club rugby and the England national team. Botterman made her debut in 2017 against Canada. The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions.
