Sakshi Shivanand is an Indian actress, who has appeared in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films. ''Vaanchinathan'' is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language crime action film directed by Shaji Kailas in his Tamil debut. The script was written by Liaquat Ali Khan. It stars Vijayakanth in the main lead role with Sakshi Shivanand and Ramya Krishnan in the female leads and Prakash Raj. The film was released on 14 January 2001. Plot Vanchinathan is a cop who has been transferred from Gujarat. Chidambaram is a media mogul who thrives on chaos and confusion, which will help him boost sales of his paper. Their enmity becomes personal when Chidambaram challenges Vanchinathan to arrest him when he cleverly commits a murder in broad daylight in front of Vanchinathan. Rama Narayanan (3 April 1949 – 22 June 2014) was an Indian film director and film producer. In the 1980s, he was known as a director who specialized in shooting commercial films in which animals played vital roles, while in the 1990s, several of his films were based on Hindu devotional subjects. ''Nageswari'' () is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language devotional film written and directed by Rama Narayanan. The film stars Ramya Krishnan in the title role alongside Karan and Vadivelu, while Vivek plays a supporting role. The film, which had music composed by S. A. Rajkumar, was released on 14 January 2001. Plot Nagaveni and her brother are great devotees of Nageswari Amman. When a woman sees the devotion Nagaveni has for the deity, she decides to get her wayward son Eashwar married to her. The night before the wedding, Eashwar and his friends, who are drunk, tease and then kill Nagaveni's brother and then her. But she rises from the dead and arrives in time for the wedding.
