Ponyride
Ponyride is a nonprofit organization, nonprofit located in Detroit, Michigan. Since 2011, the organization has occupied a 33,000 square foot building located at 1401 Vermont Street in the Corktown, Detroit, Corktown neighborhood. Founded by Slow's Bar BQ, Phil Cooley and Kate Bordine, Ponyride provides workspace, educational and material resources, and networking tools to artists, entrepreneurs, craftspeople, and other nonprofits. Description The building Ponyride occupies was originally built in 1935 as a printing facility for the automotive industry, designed by SmithGroupJJR, Smith, Hinchman and Grylls. Empowerment Plan
The Empowerment Plan is an American humanitarian organization, located in Milwaukee Junction, Detroit, Detroit, Michigan. The organization works to address homelessness by providing jobs to homeless women, and by manufacturing a coat that is given to homeless individuals in need. Background The Empowerment Plan was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in 2011, by Veronika Scott, who was a student at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. ''Tested'' is the first official live album by punk rock band Bad Religion. It was recorded in the USA, Canada, Germany, Estonia, Denmark, Italy and Austria, in 1996, and released in 1997.
