Raghu Kumar
P. K. Reghukumar (Raghukumar; 13 June 1953 – 20 February 2014) was a noted music composer from Kerala, India. His compositions first achieved prominence in the 1980s. Life and work Born into the prominent Pootheri family at Kozhikode in Kerala on 13 June 1953, Raghukumar started training in Indian classical music with Carnatic vocals at an early age under the tutelage of Gurubr>G.S.Sreekrishnan Subsequently, he took training in Indian percussion on the tabla under the able guidance of Guru Balasubramaniam of ( All India Radio). Fascinated by Hindustani music, Raghukumar started training on the sitar under Guru Vincent (a.k.a. Vincent Master). At the age of 15, Raghukumar debuted on stage as an accompanying artist for eminent musicians of Indian classical and Western percussion from all over India. Ratheesh (1954–2002) was an Indian actor best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He was a native of Kalavoor in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. He performed villainous roles during the 1990s. He had acted in 158 films with directors such as K. G. George, I. V. Sasi, Joshiy, P. G. Vishwambharan, Thampy Kannamthanam, Sreekumaran Thampi, Rajasenan,P.K.Joseph and Shaji Kailas. Unlike other villains of the time, Ratheesh captivated the Malayalam movie lovers with his charms and handsome looks. Personal life He was born to Puthenpurayil V. Kanaka Vijayalakshmi, known by her stage name Madhavi is an Indian actress known for her works in Malayalam,Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada films. In a career spanning of almost 2 decades she has been featured in around 300 films and was hailed as one of the leading actresses of South Indian cinema in the 1980s. He has also done important character roles. He started his career when Malayalam films were made in black and white. He made his debut with Tamil film ''Manaivi'' (1969), which went unreleased, and his first release was '' Rest House'' released in 1970. Poovachal Khader (25 December 1948 – 22 June 2021) was a Malayalam lyricist from Kerala who worked mainly in Malayalam film industry. His first movie as a lyricist was ''Kaattuvithachavan'' (1973) but his first released movie was '' Chuzhi'' (1973). Biography Khader was born on Christmas day in 1948, in a village named Poovachal in the present-day Thiruvananthapuram district. His original name is Muhammed Abdul Khader. His parents are Aboobacker Pillai and Rabiyathul Adabiya Beevi. Chuzhi released in 1973 under the musical direction of M. S. Baburaj was the first movie released after Poovachal Khader entered the industry as a lyricist and was proud of having written lyrics for more than 900 songs in the Malayalam film industry.
