Ponmanam
''Ponmanam'' () is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by debutant S. P. Rajkumar, assistant of K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars Prabhu, Suvalakshmi and Priya Raman. The film produced by V. Natarajan, had musical score by S. A. Rajkumar, was released on 14 January 1998 coinciding with Thai Pongal to positive reviews and ran for 100 days in a couple of theaters. Plot Anandhan (Prabhu), a kind-hearted singer, has a wife Maheshwari ( Suvalakshmi) and a baby boy. He lives in a house leased by Naidu ( Manivannan). Kumar (Karan), a youth who supposed to work in a bank, moves into a new house near Anandhan's house. Pyramid Natarajan
Pyramid Natarajan is a former Indian actor and producer, who has appeared in character roles in Tamil cinema. He made his breakthrough as an actor playing a role in Mani Ratnam's ''Alaipayuthey'' (2000) portraying the role of Madhavan's father, before playing the antagonist in several films. Karan (born 19 August 1969) is an Indian actor who has appeared predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam films. He started his career as a child actor (under the stage name Master Raghu). Suvaluxmi (born 19 August 1977) is a former Indian actress who predominantly appeared in Tamil films. She also appeared in Bengali, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada films. S. Manivannan Rajagopal (31 July 1953 – 15 June 2013), better known by his mononym Manivannan, was an Indian film director, actor and activist who worked mainly in Tamil cinema and also worked in a few Telugu & Malayalam films.
