''Politics as Usual'' is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Termanology. It was released on September 30, 2008 via Nature Sounds. Produced by DJ Premier, Hi-Tek, Alchemist, Buckwild, Easy Mo Bee, Havoc, Large Professor, Nottz and Pete Rock, it features guest appearances from Bun B, Freeway, Lil' Fame, Prodigy and Sheek Louch. Daniel Domingo Carrillo (born October 8, 1982), better known by his stage name Termanology, is an American rapper and record producer. He first gained major attention with the 2006 single "Watch How It Go Down". A solo album, '' Politics as Usual'', was released in 2008. He has made a number of collaborative albums, such as ''1982'' (released in 2010) and is known also for his prolific mixtape output. He is of Puerto Rican and French descent. Life and career In collaboration with the New Hampshire producer DC the MIDI Alien, Carrillo independently released the album ''Out the Gate'' in 2005. The single "This Is Hip Hop" attracted the attention of ''The Source'', which featured the rapper in its much-coveted "Unsigned Hype" column. Sean Divine Jacobs (born September 30, 1974), better known by his stage name Sheek Louch (or simply Sheek), is an American rapper, best known as a member of East Coast hip hop trio the Lox, which he formed in 1994 with Jadakiss and Styles P. M.O.P. (short for Mash Out Posse) is an American hip-hop duo composed of rappers Billy Danze and Lil' Fame, best known for their song " Ante Up." Leslie Edward Pridgen (born August 6, 1978), better known by his stage name Freeway, is an American rapper. Originally hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he first gained recognition after appearing on Jay-Z's fifth album, '' The Dynasty: Roc La Familia'' in 2000. The following year, he became a member of the Philadelphia-based hip-hop collective State Property, which were signed to Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records, an imprint of Def Jam Recordings.
