Alberto José Poletti (born 20 July 1946) was an Argentina, Argentine retired Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He was mainly known for being a part of the successful Estudiantes de La Plata team of 1967–1970. He started his career with Estudiantes in 1965. His last match with them was on Dec 16, 1970 against Club Atlético Vélez Sársfield, Velez Sarsfield. In the 1969 Intercontinental Cup, he received a life ban because of a fight. However, he was pardoned and was able to play again. In 1971 he moved to Club Atlético Huracán for a season and then played for Olympiacos F.C., Olympiakos in Greece between 1972 and 1973, where due to health problems, he decided to retire from professional football. Charles Poletti (July 2, 1903 – August 8, 2002) was an American lawyer and politician. He became the 46th governor of New York in December 1942, and was the first person entirely of Italian-American ancestry to become the governor of a U.S. state. Born in Barre, Vermont to Italian immigrants, Poletti graduated from Barre's Spaulding High School, Harvard University, and Harvard Law School, and became an attorney in New York City. He became active in the Democratic Party, and served as counsel to the Democratic National Committee, counsel to Governor Herbert H. Lehman, and a justice of the New York State Supreme Court. Poletti served as lieutenant governor of New York from 1939 to 1942. He lost his bid for reelection in 1942, as did gubernatorial nominee John J. Giuliano Poletti (; born 19 November 1951) is an Italian politician. He was appointed minister of labour and social policies on 22 February 2014 by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, and also served in the cabinet of Paolo Gentiloni. Biography Poletti was born in Imola, in the Province of Bologna, in 1951; his parents were farmers. During 1970s he attended the Agricultural Technical Institute of Imola. He became a member of the Italian Communist Party and, from 1976 to 1979 he was appointed alderman to Agriculture and Productive Activities in his hometown. Often described as beautiful and rebellious, she was prone to wear men's clothing and is considered one of the first women in Italy to openly declare her lesbianism. Luigi Poletti (31 December 1864 – 10 March 1967) was an Italian mathematician and poet. He was born in Pontremoli, where he also died, age 102. He attended the episcopal seminary in Potremoli, then the high school of Parma, graduated in Turin and started to study mathematics there. He did not finish and took a job in a bank. 1911 he accidentally found the book of prime number tables written by Lehmer, a mathematician from the United States in the house of professor Gino Loria, a friend of his family, when he visited Genoa. Since then he spent many years to extend the first table in order to simplify "Eratosthenes Crivello" (sieve of Eratosthenes), a method from ancient Greece to find prime numbers. He gave his method a new name: "Neocribrum" (Novum Eratosthenes Cribrum) and he got recognition from the scientific community.
