Pokémon Origins
''Pokémon Origins'', known in Japan as , is a Japanese anime television special based on Nintendo's ''Pokémon'' franchise which follows the plot of ''Pokemon Red'' and ''Blue''. Like the television series, it was not owned by Media Factory (brand company of Kadokawa Corporation). Animation is handled by Production I.G, Xebec, and OLM, Inc., and the series is split into four parts, each directed by a different director from these studios. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo on October 2, 2013, ten days before the release of the ''X'' and ''Y'' video games, and began streaming internationally on Nintendo's Pokémon TV service from November 15, 2013 to December 2, 2013. On September 14, 2016, the first episode of the series was released for free on the official Pokémon YouTube channel and was later removed in 2017. Charizard ( ), known in Japan as , is a Pokémon in Nintendo and Game Freak's ''Pokémon'' franchise. Created by Atsuko Nishida, Charizard first appeared in the video games ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue'' ( ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Green'' in Japan) and subsequent sequels. They have later appeared in various merchandise, spinoff titles and animated and printed adaptations of the franchise. Shin-ichiro Miki voices Charizard in both the Japanese and English-language versions of the anime. An orange, dragon-like Pokémon, Charizard is the evolved form of Charmeleon and the final evolution of Charmander. Rikiya Koyama
is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator currently affiliated with Haiyuza Theatre Company. Brock, known as in Japan, is a fictional character in the ''Pokémon'' franchise owned by Nintendo. In the Pokémon (video game series), ''Pokémon'' video games, he is the Gym Leader of Pewter City in the Kanto region and mainly uses Rock-type Pokémon. In the Pokémon (anime), anime series, Ash Ketchum, Ash first battles him and then invites Brock to accompany him on his journey so that Brock can become a Pokémon breeder.
