''Pogi Years Old'' is the tenth studio album by Filipino rock band Parokya ni Edgar. The album was released on October 17, 2016 nationwide and on digital format through Universal Records. Long-time member and backup vocalist Vinci Montaner appears as a featured artist on the album. This marks the first studio album after 6 years since 2010's '' Middle-Aged Juvenile Novelty Pop Rockers''. Overview The cover was revealed on September 2, 2016 and it was announced that former member Vinci Montaner would appear on the album as a featured artist. The title was also revealed to be titled ''Pogi Years Old''. On September 9, 2016, the band held a free surprise show at the Bonifacio Shrine in Manila. The band held an album launch at Eastwood Central Plaza on October 16, 2016. Ferdinand "Dindin" Alvarez Moreno (born March 16, 1976) is a Filipino drummer for the band Parokya ni Edgar. Biography Moreno is one of the four members of Parokya ni Edgar who attended Ateneo de Manila University during their grade school to high school years. He went to UP Diliman and took up Geodetic Engineering in college. Besides his musical interests, Moreno is an avid technology and gadget hobbyist and is very active in the tech community. He reviews gadgets and writes for tech publications. He is also currently sponsored by a local drums brand. Gabriel Ignatius Juan Chee Kee (born July 30, 1976) is a Filipino guitarist, singer, songwriter and one of the founding members of the band Parokya ni Edgar. Biography Chee Kee, whose parents are both former teachers, is one of the four members of Parokya ni Edgar who attended Ateneo de Manila University during their grade school to high school years. In 2003, Chee Kee married his then girlfriend Apple Umali. They separated sometime in 2010. Chee Kee is known for composing and singing the lead vocals in Parokya ni Edgar's sleeper hit "Your Song (My One and Only You)" from their album ''Bigotilyo''. Darius Gerard Laluna Semaña (born June 30, 1973) is a Filipino musician. He is the lead guitarist of the band Parokya ni Edgar and is the oldest member of the group. Biography Semaña grew up in Mataasnakahoy, Batangas and attended Fine Arts in the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City. He, along with Vinci Montaner, are the only members of Parokya ni Edgar who have earned a bachelor's degree. It is also publicly known that he is one of two band members who did not attend Ateneo de Manila University, the other member being bassist Buwi Meneses who is lesser known as a non-Atenean graduate and is a childhood friend of Chito Miranda instead. Buhawi "Buwi" Francia Meneses (born June 4, 1976) is a Filipino bassist for the band Parokya ni Edgar, and formerly for Franco. Biography Meneses is the second of four children and only son of breast cancer activist Danny Valenzuela Meneses and the late Rosa Francia-Meneses. Meneses took up Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. During his second year in the program, he stopped schooling and at the same time took care of his ill mother as she was diagnosed with breast cancer that same year. Not long after, Meneses joined the band of his childhood friend Chito Miranda to form Parokya ni Edgar and pursue a music career. Alfonso "Chito" Yanga Miranda Jr. (born February 7, 1976) is a Filipino singer and songwriter, best known as one of the founding members and lead singer for the band Parokya ni Edgar.
