Plouguerneau
Plouguerneau (; ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France. Geography A municipality located between the right bank of the coastal river Aber-Wrac'h and the English Channel, Plouguerneau is made up of three towns: Plouguerneau in the center of the municipality, Lilia to the west facing the sea and Le Grouanec to the east facing land. It is located in the heart of the Pays pagan and the Pays des Abers. Plouguerneau has 45 kilometers of coastline, islands included (it is the town in France with the longest coastline); it is also the capital of seaweed harvesters. Tideford
Tideford (; ) is a small village in east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is twinned with Plouguerneau in Brittany, France. Its name derives from its location on the River Tiddy, literally meaning "Ford on the River Tiddy". Tideford is not listed in the Domesday Book but the earliest settlement is thought to have been around 1100AD. The bridge over the River Tiddy at the bottom of Bridge Road dates from the 14th century and this is the earliest surviving structure. Tideford grew in the eighteenth century as the nearby Port Eliot country estate built a number of houses in the village. Many of these have now been sold, but of note is 'Bridge House', located at the bottom of Bridge Road, which remains a gatehouse onto the estate. The village is on the busy A38 between Saltash and Liskeard, one of two main road routes into Cornwall (the other being the A30 which runs into north Cornwall). Edingen-Neckarhausen () is a municipality in the district of Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated on the left bank of the Neckar. Aber Wrac'h
Aber Wrac'h is a small village and port located on the river which shares its name in the commune in France, commune of Landéda in the department of Finistère in France, located in Brittany. The source of the Wrac'h river is in Trémaouézan. It travels through Ploudaniel, Le Folgoët, Lannilis and Plouguerneau and enters the ocean in the estuary between the Sainte Marguerite peninsula and the headland of the Virgin Island. Origin of the name The Aber Wrac'h could derive its name from the first immersed rock of its channel, “Ar Wrach”, which means “the old woman” (or the wrasse) in Breton language, Breton. St Germans () is a village and civil parishes in England, civil parish in east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It stands on the River Tiddy, just upstream of where that river joins the River Lynher; the water way from St Germans to the Hamoaze is also known as St Germans River.
