''Pleasure to Meet You'' is the second album by American rock band Dead Sara. It was released on March 31, 2015 under INgrooves Music Group and Pocket Kid Records. The band financed the album with a PledgeMusic campaign, with pledgers receiving a free download of the single "Suicidal". It's also the last record with bassist Chris Null, who departed the band a few months after the album was released. Music videos were released for the songs "Mona Lisa" and "Something Good", both of which were performed live on ''Late Night with Seth Meyers'' on April 1, 2015. Dead Sara is an American rock band from Los Angeles, consisting of Emily Armstrong (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Siouxsie Medley (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Sean Friday (drums, backing vocals), best known for their single "Weatherman" from their eponymous debut album '' Dead Sara'' (2012). ''Dead Sara'' is the debut album by American rock band Dead Sara. It was released on April 10, 2012, by the band's own Pocket Kid Records and produced by Noah Shain. The album was critically acclaimed and reached number 16 on ''Billboard''s Heatseekers Albums chart. Its single "Weatherman" reached number 30 on the Mainstream Rock chart, 31 on the Hot Rock Songs chart and 35 on the Alternative Songs chart. Background "Weatherman" is the first song the current line-up of Dead Sara created, when Siouxsie Medley came up with the guitar riff in a rehearsal and Chris Null wrote the verses via a bassline. Emily Marcia Armstrong (born May 6, 1986) is an American singer and guitarist. The co-founder of Dead Sara, she became the lead singer of Linkin Park when the band regrouped in September 2024, seven years after the death of their long-time lead vocalist Chester Bennington. Early life Armstrong was born in Los Angeles. Her parents were prominent members of the Church of Scientology, and she was raised as a Scientologist. She started to write songs and play guitar when she was 11, and began to sing when she was 15. She dropped out of high school; she said she wanted to be in a rock band and had no interest in pursuing anything else. She is best known as the lead guitarist for Dead Sara, a band she founded with Emily Armstrong in 2005. Early years Born in Los Angeles to Stan Medley and Sandra Sherman, Medley was raised by her father after her parents separated. Medley's interest in music began at age 9 when she started practicing on a Fender Telecaster owned by her nanny, Dexy Valentine of the band Magic Wands.
