Playrix Holding Ltd., also known as Playrix Entertainment and Playrix Games, is a developer of free-to-play mobile games behind titles such as ''Township'', '' Fishdom'', ''Homescapes'', and '' Gardenscapes''. The company was founded in 2004 by brothers Dmitry Bukhman and Igor Bukhman and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Playrix was valued at $8 billion in 2021. As of 2023, Playrix was the third-biggest mobile game developer in the world in terms of revenue. ''Homescapes'' is a casual free-to-play puzzle game. It was developed and launched by Playrix in 2017 as a spiritual successor to their 2016 match-3 game, '' Gardenscapes''. The storyline narrates attempts by the game's protagonist, Austin the Butler, to restore his childhood home. The game is available on Apple's App Store for iOS and macOS, and also on Android via Google Play, Amazon Appstore, or Huawei AppGallery. It is also available for Windows on the Microsoft Store. Gameplay ''Homescapes'' follows the adventure of the main character Austin who returns to his childhood mansion and begins to restore it. ''Fishdom'' is a puzzle game developed by Playrix for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Android, iOS, and iPadOS. The game was originally launched on 19 June 2008. Gameplay The object of the game is to solve puzzles and earn coins to set up and decorate a virtual aquarium. Using in-game currency the player is able to purchase different species of fish, decorations, and "comfort" items to make the environment more pleasant for pet fishes.
