PlateUp!
''PlateUp!'' is a 2022 restaurant management simulation video game with roguelike elements, developed by It's Happening and published by Yogscast Games. Gameplay involves one to four players operating a restaurant by taking orders, preparing food, serving food, and cleaning dishes. Over each run lasting 15 in-game days, players choose randomly generated upgrades and difficulty modifiers for their restaurant. ''PlateUp!'' was developed as the first game of, and initially as a solo project by, Alastair Janse van Rensburg. The game was released initially for Microsoft Windows on 4 August 2022, with a console edition being released on 15 February 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S. The game received "fair" reviews from critics, who praised the gameplay of the game while criticizing its art and interface.
