The European version of ''Planet Jedward'' is a compilation album by Irish pop duo Jedward. The album was released on 15 July 2011 and is a compilation of tracks from the duo's first two albums, ''Planet Jedward'' and ''Victory''. Background Following the success of Jedward at Eurovision 2011, Universal Music released a compilation album to showcase Jedward's sound in Europe. Despite its name, the European version of ''Planet Jedward'' is actually based around tracks from the duo's second album ''Victory'', with seven of the 11 tracks coming from that album, including their Eurovision entry "Lipstick Lipstick is a cosmetic product used to apply coloration and texture to lips, often made of wax and oil. John and Edward Grimes (born 16 October 1991), collectively known as Jedward (a portmanteau of their first names), are an Irish singing and television presenting duo. They are identical twins who first appeared as John & Edward in the sixth series of '' The X Factor'' in 2009, generating a phenomenon of ironic popularity described as "the Jedward paradox". They finished in sixth place and were managed by Louis Walsh, who was their mentor during ''The X Factor''. Oritsé Jolomi Matthew Soloman Williams ( ; born 27 November 1986), professionally as Oritsé, is an English singer-songwriter, dancer and record producer. He is best known as the founding member of the boy band JLS, who were runners-up to Alexandra Burke on the fifth series of ''The X Factor'' in 2008.
