Plamenih 5 ( sr-Cyrl, Пламених 5, trans. ''The Flaming 5'') were a Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1964. Despite having no official releases, the band are notable as one of the pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene. History 1964-1969 The band was formed in 1964. The first lineup featured Branislav Aranđelović (guitar), Dragoljub Pavlović (bass guitar), Miomir Petrović (rhtythm guitar), Dragoslav Lazarević (keyboards) and Dobrivoje Radojević (drums). The band's later lineups featured bass guitarist Slobodan "Boba" Orlić and rhythm guitarist Vojislav Čobanski. Initially the band performed mostly the covers of beat hits. During 1965 the band held regular performances at the Euridika club in Belgrade. In May of the same year they won the first place at the Festival of Youth, and in December of the same year the band performed on the Parada ritma (''Parade of Rhythm'') festival in Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair. Donald Arthur Fardon (born 19 August 1940) is an English pop singer. Fardon is best known for his cover of the song "Indian Reservation" (1968), a UK number 3 hit and global million selling disc. He also wrote the football anthem " Belfast Boy" about George Best. Career Prior to becoming a singer, Fardon worked as a draughtsman for Alfred Herberts Ltd in Coventry. Before his solo success, Fardon was a singer with The Sorrows. His biggest success was his cover version of "Indian Reservation" by John D. Loudermilk (1968, ''Billboard'' Hot 100: number 20; 1970, UK: number 3; Australia: number 4). The global sales were estimated at over one million copies. His follow-up single " Belfast Boy", composed in honour of the Manchester United and Northern Ireland player George Best, reached number 32 in the UK singles chart. Rokeri s Moravu ( sr-Cyrl, Рокери с Мораву, meaning ''The Rockers from the Morava'') was a Yugoslav and Serbian band active from 1977-1991 and again from 2006-2008. Their music was a mix of Serbian folk music with rock elements and folksy, satirical lyrics in the village dialects of Šumadija and the Morava Valley, combined with numerous popular culture references. Their visual trademark were Serbian šajkača caps and opanci shoes, worn either with traditional dress and/or in crazy combinations with tuxedos, fur coats or A-shirts. The band was formed in 1977 by Boris Bizetić, who wrote, composed and made musical arrangements for all Rokeri s Moravu's songs (more than 220) and who is also one of the lead singers of the band.
