Lea Michele Sarfati ( ; born August 29, 1986) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She began her career as a child actress on Broadway, appearing in productions of ''Les Misérables'' (1995–1996), ''Ragtime'' (1997–1999), ''Fiddler on the Roof'' (2004–2005), and '' Spring Awakening'' (2006–2008). The Hotel Café is a live music venue located off an alley on the Cahuenga Boulevard strip in Hollywood, California, United States, that has become known for helping to establish the careers of new singer-songwriters in the 2000s. It began as a Coffeehouse, coffee shop, but has gained a reputation as an intimate performance space featuring acoustic-based songwriters. Alexandra Savior McDermott (born June 14, 1995) is an American singer-songwriter originally from Portland, Oregon. She first came to public notice at age 17 in 2012 after being publicly lauded by Courtney Love, who saw a video of Savior performing cover songs that were uploaded on YouTube. Shortly after graduating high school in 2013, Savior pursued a music career in Los Angeles, and was signed to Columbia Records later that year, after which she began recording material with producers James Ford and Alex Turner. Her debut studio album, ''Belladonna of Sadness'', was released on April 7, 2017, by Columbia Records.
