The Pla de Barcelona derby ( Catalan: ''derbi del Pla de Barcelona''), also known as the rivalry of La Vila contra El Poble, is the football rivalry between CE Europa and UE Sant Andreu. Europa, from the Vila de Gràcia, and Sant Andreu, from Sant Andreu del Palomar, are the main clubs from the former towns of the Pla de Barcelona, which are now neighbourhoods of Barcelona in Catalonia. History Evolution The first matches between Europa and Sant Andreu were played in the last years of the 1900s and the beginning of the 1910s. But due to the lack of clear and consistent documentation, it is not known exactly how many matches were played between the teams. Derbi is a manufacturer of motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and recreational all-terrain vehicles produced by Nacional Motor S.A.U., currently integrated into the Italian (2009) Piaggio Group. History Derbi's origins began with a little bicycle workshop in the village of Mollet near Barcelona, founded in 1922 by Simeó Rabasa i Singla (1901–1988). El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot (name designated in 2006) is one of the ten neighborhoods of Barcelona which compose the district of '' Sant Martí'', Catalonia (Spain). It was annexed by Barcelona in the year 1897. It is situated in the upper part of this district and before it was named Camp de l'Arca. Etymology The name of Camp de l'Arpa is probably derived from the existence of a dolmen in this area. This dolmen was cited in a document of the year 1037 in an official document of Sant Cugat, with the Latin phrase "ad ipsa archa", in a dispute of the limits. The current name would be a linguistic deformation of the original. The Senyera is a vexillological symbol based on the coat of arms of the Crown of Aragon, which consists of four red stripes on a yellow field. A demonym (; ) or 'gentilic' () is a word that identifies a group of people ( inhabitants, residents, natives) in relation to a particular place. Districts Of Barcelona
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain is divided into 10 districts. These are administered by a councillor designated by the main city council, and each of them have some powers relating to issues such as urbanism or infrastructure in their area. The current division of the city into different districts was approved in 1984. In 2009 Barcelona started using a new division of 73 neighbourhoods (the 10 districts are still in use), a division that was done for a better service from the City Council. Reus Deportiu is a Catalan sports club best known for its professional roller hockey team based in Reus, Catalonia, Spain. History CD Reus was founded on 23 November 1909 after the dissolution of Reus Sport Club. On 29 September 1917, the club merged with Club Velocipedista and SC Olímpia becoming the multi-sports club Reus Deportiu.
