Pirikanoka
is the Ainu language, Ainu name, sung in ''yukar'', for a grouping of geological features in Hokkaidō, Japan. In 2009, ''Pirikanoka'' was Cultural Property (Japan), nationally designated a Monuments of Japan, Place of Scenic Beauty, with the first six sites listed below, with an extension in 2012 to include the next three, and another in 2014 for the tenth. National Places of Scenic Beauty As of 1 September 2016, three Places have been Cultural Properties of Japan, designated at a national level. Prefectural Places of Scenic Beauty As of 17 August 2016, two Places have been Cultural Properties of Japan, designated at a prefectural level. Municipal Places of Scenic Beauty As of 1 May 2016, eight Places have been Cultural Properties of Japan, designated at a municipal level. Registered Places of Scenic Beauty As of 1 September 2016, one Monument has been Cultural Properties of Japan#Categories of registered Cultural Properties, registered (as opposed to Cultural Properties of Japan, designated) as a Place of Scenic Beauty at a national level.
