Pinoy Box Office
Pinoy Box Office (PBO; stylized in lowercase as pbo) is a Philippine pay television film channel owned by Viva Communications. Its programming consists of films produced and distributed by Viva Films. Aside from films, PBO occasionally plays music videos by recording artists under Viva Records (Philippines), Viva, concerts of its artists, and some original TV series and a few talk shows exclusive to the channel, as well as airing shopping TV program ''EZ Shop'' and ''Island Living''. History The channel was originally launched as Viva Cinema on May 6, 1996, in partnership between Viva Communications, Viva Entertainment in the Philippines and Disney Networks Group Asia Pacific, Star TV (later simply rebranded as Star in 2001) in Hong Kong. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). Cine Mo! (; stylized as CINEMO! and formerly known as SineBox) is a Philippine pay television channel owned and operated by ABS-CBN Corporation and ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. (content provider) and it was one of the former freemium channels of ABS-CBN TVplus since 2015. The programming consists of local films and foreign movies. Cine Mo! is being complemented with its English-language counterpart, Movie Central, which was launched on July 30, 2018 on a free-trial basis. From its inception until early 2020, Cine Mo! operated Mondays to Saturdays from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM and Sundays from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
