Pinoké
Pinoké, also known as de Steekneuzen, is a Dutch field hockey club based in Amstelveen. It was founded on 23 January 1929, making it the second oldest hockey club in 'Amsterdamse Bos, het Amsterdamse Bos'. Both the men's and the women's 1st XI compete in the Hoofdklasse Hockey, country's top-tier league. The men's team came 2nd in the 2021–22 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, Hoofdklasse Hockey in the 2021-2022 season. HC Bloemendaal, Bloemendaal were the defending champions and they defended their title by defeating Pinoké 3–0 in the second match of the best of three series. In the 1st match, Bloemendaal tied 30 seconds before the end (3–3), after which Pinoké lost after shoot-outs. As a result off the 2nd place in 2022, the men's team also made their debut in Euro Hockey League, where they defeated Slavia Prague 16–0 in their first match. The 2021–22 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, also known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, was the 49th season of the Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, the top Dutch field hockey league. It began on 12 September 2021 and it concluded on 28 May 2022 with the second match of the championship final. Bloemendaal were the defending champions. 2022–23 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey
The 2022–23 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, also known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, was the 50th season of the Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, the top Dutch field hockey league. It began on 3 September 2022 and concluded on 29 May 2023 with the second match of the championship final. Bloemendaal were the three-time defending champions. They lost 5–1 on aggregate in the championship final to Pinoké who won their first national title. Changes from 2021–22 Starting from this season all the matches in the Hoofdklasse were played in four quarters of 15 minutes in accordance with the international rules of hockey; previously, the quarters were 17.5 minutes. 2023–24 Men's Euro Hockey League
The 2023–24 Men's Euro Hockey League was the 17th season of the Men's Euro Hockey League, Europe's men's premier club field hockey tournament, organized by the European Hockey Federation. The first round was held from 6 to 8 October 2023 in Barcelona, Spain and the Final8 took place from 28 March to 1 April 2024 in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Bloemendaal were the defending champions, having won the last three editions. They were eliminated in the first round by Kampong. Florent Van Aubel
Florent Van Aubel (born 25 October 1991) is a Belgian professional field hockey player who plays as a forward for Dutch Hoofdklasse club Pinoké. He played 301 matches for the Belgian national team from 2012 until 2024. Club career In 2010, he won the Golden Stick from the Belgian Hockey Association in the category of male junior players. In 2011 he was nominated by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) for best young player of the year. Also, Florent van Aubel participated with his club KHC Dragons at the Euro Hockey League. In 2012, he also played at the Euro Hockey League and finished third. After 13 years at Dragons he left Belgium in 2022 to play for Pinoké in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Sébastien Dockier
Sébastien Dockier (born 28 December 1989) is a Belgian field hockey player who plays as a forward for Dutch Hoofdklasse club Pinoké. Dockier comes from a real hockey family; not only his father and sister but even aunts and cousins have been playing field hockey. Club career During his youth, he played for Royal Beerschot THC, where he played in the first team until 2014, when he left to play for Dutch club HC Den Bosch. After three seasons with Den Bosch, he went back to his former club. He played there for one season before returning to the Netherlands to play for Den Bosch again. Miles Bukkens (born 15 February 2003) is a Dutch field hockey player who plays as a forward for Hoofdklasse club Pinoké and the Dutch national team. Personal life Miles Bukkens was born and raised in Badhoevedorp, Netherlands. Club career In the Netherlands' domestic league, the Hoofdklasse, Bukkens represents Pinoké. Jack Waller (field Hockey)
Jack Laurence Waller (born 28 January 1997) is an English field hockey player, who plays as a defender or midfielder for Dutch Hoofdklasse Club Pinoké and the England and Great Britain national teams. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics. Biography Waller was educated at Whitgift School, South Croydon, London. He completed his higher education at Durham University. Waller played club hockey in the Men's England Hockey League Premier Division for Wimbledon and then Durham University. While at Durham he made his senior international debuts in October 2018, for Great Britain v Belgium on 2 October 2018 and for England v France on 16 October 2018. Jacob Benjamin Draper (born 24 July 1998) is a Welsh field hockey player who plays as a defender for Dutch Hoofdklasse club Pinoké and the Wales and Great Britain national teams. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2024 Summer Olympics. Biography Draper was born in Cwmbran, Wales, and started his hockey career with Gwent HC. He then played for Preston, followed by Cardiff & Met. While at Preston, Draper made his senior debut, aged 18, for Wales on 28 August 2016, in a 5–1 win over Austria in Vienna, Austria. Euro Hockey League
The Euro Hockey League is an annual field hockey cup competition organized by the EHF for the very top field hockey clubs in Europe. The competition was launched at the start of the 2007-08 field hockey season when it merged and replaced the men's EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (the champions competition) and the EuroHockey Cup Winners Cup (the Cup Winners' competition).
