Bhikkhu, Monks or Bhikkhunī, nuns on ''piṇḍacāra'' go around town on foot with their Ōryōki, almsbowl under their outer Kasaya (clothing), robe and make themselves available to the Upāsaka, laity to receive almsfood (, ''piṇḍapāta'').
