Pinball Hall Of Fame
The Pinball Hall of Fame is a hands-on museum for playable pinball machines that opened in Las Vegas, Nevada, in February 2006. It is currently located at 4925 S. Las Vegas Boulevard. The museum is a project of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club, and it features pinball machines from all eras, including some very rare machines such as Williams' ''Black Gold'', Bally's ''Pinball Circus'' and Recreativos Franco's ''Impacto''. It features nearly 700 different pinball games, including some classic video arcade games and other novelty machines of the past and present. The Pinball Hall of Fame is a nonprofit venture and its creation came about in part due to donations, which are still accepted. The museum is run by Tim Arnold, a veteran arcade operator who ran "Pinball Pete's" in East Lansing, Michigan. Fully staffed by volunteers, excess revenues are donated to the Salvation Army. Ed Krynski
Edward Paul Krynski (September 12, 1927November 15, 2004) was a pinball game designer and innovator who worked for D. Gottlieb & Co between 1965 and 1984. During this time Krynski designed more than 200 games and innovated new pinball standards such as the laneways to the flipper, carousel targets, vari-targets, multiple drop targets, and the first solid state pinball machine with the speaker in the backbox instead of the bottom cabinet. Krynski is a member of the Pinball Hall of Fame. The first pinball machine designed by Krynski was ''Hi Straight'', released in December 1959, and the last was '' El Dorado City of Gold'', in October 1984. Pacific Pinball Museum
The Pacific Pinball Museum is a Board Managed and certified 501 C(3) nonprofit interactive museum/arcade offering a chronological and historical selection of rare bagatelles and early pinball games in addition to over 100 playable pinball machines ranging in era from the 1940s to present day located on Webster Street in Alameda, California. Throughout the 7,000 sq/ft museum are hand-painted murals, vintage Jukeboxes, educational handouts and rotating focused exhibits.
