Pilot (Mallory Knox EP)
''Pilot'' is the début EP released and produced by the British alternative rock band Mallory Knox. Release After approximately 3 months of writing songs, the band started to play local shows in Cambridge around November. They later recorded this EP at Studio Glasseye with the help of producer Dan Lancaster ( We Are The Ocean, Lower Than Atlantis). The band released the EP on 14 July after gaining more exposure by getting as many people as they could to listen to their songs. Critical reception This EP was met with mostly positive reviews, although not many due to the minor popularity of the band at the time of release. ''Alter The Press!'' stated that the most striking aspect was Chapmans vocals used throughout the album, stating that "''His sultry voice serves as a guide on ‘Oceans’ and never wavers into the more common paper-thin falsetto territory that often sells best.''", the review also consistently states that the EP is of the Pop rock genre, however unlike other ... Mallory Knox
Mallory Knox were an English alternative rock band from Cambridge. In 2013, they released their debut album '' Signals'' which reached #33 in the UK album charts. Their second album ''Asymmetry'' was released on 27 October 2014 and reached #16 on UK Album Chart. They later released their third album '' Wired'' on 10 March 2017. Their fourth record, ''Mallory Knox'', was released on 16 August 2019, after which they announced a farewell tour. Post-hardcore
Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression. ''Signals'' is the debut album by the British rock band Mallory Knox. The album was released on 21 January 2013. Background Mallory Knox formed in September 2009. After two months, drummer Dave Rawling, bassist Sam Douglas, and guitarist Joe Savins invited guitarist James Gillett and vocalist Mikey Chapman to a practice session. The group hit it off instantly, as Chapman explains, "Everyone was on the same page; we were all there for the right reasons". All of the members had previously played in locals band prior to Mallory Knox. Lower Than Atlantis
Lower Than Atlantis were an English rock band from Watford, Hertfordshire. They formed in 2007 as a hardcore punk band and gradually shifted into a rock sound over five studio albums, their last being 2017's '' Safe in Sound''. The band consisted of vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Mike Duce, bassist Declan Hart, drummer Eddy Thrower, and guitarist Ben Sansom. They announced in December 2018 that they would be disbanding after a final 3 tour dates in 2019.
