Władysław Pasikowski (; born 14 June 1959 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish film director and screenwriter. He made his debut film, Kroll, in 1991, which was honored with the Polish Film Festival prize for his debut and the Special Jury Prize. Pasikowski is also the author of the science fiction novel ''I, Gelerth'' (''Ja, Gelerth'' (Zebra)) which in 1993 was nominated for the Janusz A. Zajdel Award. Artur Żmijewski (born 10 April 1966) is a Polish film and stage actor. Biography Born in Radzymin, Żmijewski graduated from the M. Konopnickiej High School in Legionowo, and then in 1990 from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. In 1989–1991 he performed with the Contemporary Theatre (Teatr Współczesny), in 1991–1992 at the Ateneum Theatre and Theatre Scene Presentations (Teatr Scena Prezentacje), and in 1998–2010 he appeared at the National Theatre (all in Warsaw). Since 2007 he has been a national Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. Since 2009 he has been an honorary citizen of Legionowo. Jan Henryk Machulski (3 July 1928 – 20 November 2008) was a Polish theater director, as well as a film and theatrical actor. He appeared in more than 45 film roles and 70 theater roles throughout his career. Personal life Machulski was born in Łódź, Poland, on 3 July 1928. He was a graduate of the National Film School in Łódź and the Polish National Acting School. Machulski was married to Polish actress, Halina Machulska. Edward Linde-Lubaszenko (born 23 August 1939) is a Polish actor. Biography His father, Julian Linde, was a German of Swedish descent, who escaped from Białystok in 1939. Edward's mother, who was an ethnic Pole, refused to follow him to Germany. She met Mikołaj Lubaszenko, a Soviet officer with whom she moved to Arkhangelsk, where they got married. The young actor was raised as Edward Lubaszenko by his mother and her husband. He found that he was Linde's son when he was about 18 years old. He changed his name to Edward Linde-Lubaszenko in 1991.
