Pietro Marcello
Pietro Marcello (born 2 July 1976) is an Italian film director. He has directed more than ten documentary and feature films since 2004. Several of his films have been presented at international film festivals and have received various awards and nominations. Career In 2009, Marcello's docudrama ''The Mouth of the Wolf (2009 film), The Mouth of the Wolf'' (''La bocca del lupo'') follows Vincenzo Motta, who served a long sentence in a Genoa prison, and his love history with a trans woman named Mary Monaco in prison, Mary promised to wait for Enzo once she gets out of prison, but shortly after they find a home to share, she became addicted to heroin. The film had its world premiere at the 2009 Torino Film Festival winning the FIPRESCI Prize for best film. Caserta
Caserta ( ; ) is the capital of the province of Caserta in the Campania region of Italy. An important agricultural, commercial, and industrial ''comune'' and city, Caserta is located 36 kilometres north of Naples on the edge of the Campanian plain at the foot of the Campanian Subapennine mountain range. The city is best known for the 18th-century Bourbon Royal Palace of Caserta. History Anciently inhabited by Osco- Samnite tribes, modern Caserta was established around the defensive tower built in Lombard times by Pando, Prince of Capua. Alice Rohrwacher (, ; born 29 December 1981) is an Italian film director, editor, and screenwriter. She made her directorial debut with '' Heavenly Body'' (2011). ''Lost and Beautiful'' () is a 2015 Italian fantasy drama film produced, written and directed by Pietro Marcello. It was entered into the main competition at the 2015 Locarno Film Festival. Plot Pulcinella, mask of the Campania tradition, intermediary between the living and the dead, has the mission of fulfilling the last wishes of a simple Campania shepherd, Tommaso Cestrone: to rescue a buffalo named Sarchiapone. Pulcinella then goes to the Royal Palace of Carditello, a Bourbon residence abandoned to itself in the heart of the land of fires, of which Tommaso was the voluntary guardian and where the young buffalo is found.
