Pierre Jackson
Pierre Deshawn Jackson (born August 29, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the College of Southern Idaho and Baylor University in which he was one of the top college players in the 2012–13 season. High school and junior college career Jackson attended Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas. Following a standout career, where he led the state of Nevada in assists as a senior, he went to the College of Southern Idaho (CSI). At CSI, Jackson led the Golden Eagles to a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship in 2011, earning tournament MVP honors. He averaged 18.6 points and 4.4 assists per game in 2010–11 and was named a first-team All-American and the NJCAA Player of the Year at the conclusion of the season. The NBA D-League All-Star Game was an annual exhibition basketball game held by the NBA Development League (D-League). It is held during the week before the start of the Israeli Premier League season. The Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers () is a professional basketball team based in Ürümqi, Xinjiang, China.
