Pierre-Romain Thionnet
Pierre-Romain Thionnet (born 19 January 1994) is a French politician from National Rally. He was elected as a Member of the European Parliament in 2024. Career Thionnet was a member of the Regional Council of Île-de-France. He was the chief of staff of Jordan Bardella. He was president of Rassemblement national de la jeunesse, the youth organization of the French National Rally. Thionnet was a candidate in Marne's 5th constituency in the 2022 French legislative election but was defeated in the second round by longstanding Member of Parliament Charles de Courson. He became a Member of the European Parliament in the 2024 European Parliament election. Charles De Courson
Charles Amédée Simon du Buisson de Courson (; born 2 April 1952) is a French politician who has represented the 5th constituency of the Marne department in the National Assembly since 1993. A member of The Centrists (LC), he sits with the Liberties, Independents, Overseas and Territories (LIOT) group. He has been rapporteur of the state budget in the National Assembly since 2024. Since 2022, he has been the longest-serving deputy in the National Assembly. Prior to entering politics, he worked as a civil servant at the Auditors Court and Finance Ministry.
