Stefan Pichler (born November 7, 1957) is a global airline and tourism Chief Executive. Most recently he was President and CEO of Royal Jordanian. Previously, Pichler was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Air Berlin, served as Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways, as the CEO of Jazeera Airways, Chairman and CEO of Thomas Cook AG and Chairman of the Bundesverband der Deutschen Tourismuswirtschaft, as well as Chairman of Fiji Tourism. Bernd Pichler (born 26 December 1969) is a German biomedical engineer and expert in preclinical and molecular imaging as well as in imaging technology. He is Chair of the Department of Preclinical Imaging and Radiopharmacy as well as Director of the Werner Siemens Imaging Center at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Anita Pichler (28 January 1948 – 6 April 1997) was an Italian author and translator from South Tyrol who wrote in German. She was the first post-war author to achieve visibility outside that region. Life Pichler was born in Schenna and grew up in Schenna, Sulden and Trieste. She went on to study modern languages and literature at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Slavic studies in Prague. She received a scholarship to attend Humboldt University in East Berlin in 1979. In 1982, Pichler returned to Venice, where she was a lecturer for German at the Ca' Foscari University. Joseph Pichler (May 9, 1730 – December 15, 1808) was an Austrian painter, best known for his frescoes. Pichler was born in the Carinthian village of Kötschach, which he left in 1752 to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Pichler remained primarily known for the frescoes commissioned by his long-time client Wenzel Anton, Prince of Kaunitz-Rietberg. Pichler applied frescoes in Kaunitz's Slavkov Castle (located in Slavkov u Brna), the castle's chapel, and the Palais Kaunitz-Wittgenstein, where he painted the frescoes in the stairwell and the banquet hall.
