Armando Picchi
Armando Picchi (; 20 June 1935 – 27 May 1971) was an Italian football player and coach. Regularly positioned as a libero, he captained the Inter Milan side known as "La Grande Inter". Club career Early career Born in Livorno, Picchi started his career by playing for Livorno. In 1959, he moved to SPAL, before moving later at the peak of his time, and most of his career, to Inter Milan. Captain of Grande Inter A versatile defender, Picchi started to play at Inter Milan as a right-back, a role he previously held at SPAL. During the course of 1961–62 season, the legendary ''Grande Inter'' coach Helenio Herrera experimented by placing him as a libero. Giorgio Picchi il Giovane (active 1586-1599) was an Italian painter active in Rome, Cremona, Rimini, Urbino, and Urbania. He was either a pupil or follower of Federico Barocci. Born in Castel Durante, present-day Urbania, he trained with his father (Giogio Picchi il Vecchio), a profitable maiolica painter and producer. Along with Sebastiano Sabatini, called il Mafori, Picchi il Vecchio was active in Castel Durante and left his active factory of maiolica to his son. Giovanni Picchi (1571 or 1572 – 17 May 1643) was an Italian composer, organist, lutenist, and harpsichordist of the early Baroque era. He was a late follower of the Venetian School, and was influential in the development and differentiation of instrumental forms which were just beginning to appear, such as the sonata and the ensemble canzona; in addition he was the only Venetian of his time to write dance music for harpsichord. Life Little is known about Picchi's early life, but his birthdate (1571 or 1572) can be inferred from his death record which states that he was 71 when he died on 17 May 1643. The earliest documentary evidence pertaining to him, unusually enough, is a picture: he appears as a lutenist on the title page of a 1600 dance manual by Fabritio Caroso (''Nobilità di dame''). Guglielmo Picchi (born 26 April 1973) is an Italian politician. Picchi, a long time London resident until recently served as deputy minister of foreign affairs of Italy under the Conte I cabinet from 2018 to 2019.
