''Phoebe'' is a genus of evergreen trees and shrubs belonging to the Laurel family, Lauraceae. There are 75 accepted species in the genus, distributed in tropical and subtropical Asia and New Guinea.''Phoebe'' Nees ''Plants of the World Online'', Kew Science.
