Phixx
Phixx were an English-Irish boy band formed in 2003 from the five runners up on British TV show '' Popstars: The Rivals''. The original members were Andrew Kinlochan, Chris Park, Mikey Green, Peter Smith, and Nikk Mager. Between 2003 and 2005, they achieved four top 20 singles in the UK. They broke up in 2006. Band history In February 2003, they signed to Hyperactive Management, who had previously been successful with Liberty X. In October 2003, they released their first single, " Hold on Me", on the Concept Records label, which charted at number 10 in the UK, selling over 60,000 copies. March 2004 saw the release of their second single, "Love Revolution". This sold over 50,000 copies and charted at number 13. The videos and dance routines for their first two singles aroused media attention for their content, as they often featured the band topless or naked, often in sexually suggestive and aggressive situations with other men. Hold On Me (Phixx Song)
"Hold on Me" is a song by British pop group Phixx, released on 27 October 2003 in the United Kingdom. It was their debut release via Concept Music and the lead single taken from the band's debut album, " Electrophonic Revolution". A music video was for "Hold on Me" was released and features the band shirtless and performing dance routines. The band performed the single on ''Top of the Pops'', complete with sexualised dance routines. The performance caused controversy with viewers and Ofcom ruled it was unsuitable for broadcast in the evening timeslot for its depictions of bondage. The single debuted and peaked at number ten on the UK Singles Chart and remained on the chart for four weeks. "The Wild Boys" is the twelfth single by the English pop rock band Duran Duran, released on 22 October 1984 in the United Kingdom. The song was the only studio track on the band's live album ''Arena'' (1984), and was produced by Nile Rodgers, who had previously remixed the band's previous single "The Reflex". It was recorded at the end of July 1984 at Maison Rouge Studios in London. Background The idea for the song came from longtime Duran Duran video director Russell Mulcahy, who wanted to make a full-length feature film based on the surreal and sexual 1971 novel '' The Wild Boys: A Book of the Dead'' by William S. The Fizz
The Fizz are a British pop music group formed in 2016 as a spin-off from the original group, Bucks Fizz. The group consists of original members of Bucks Fizz Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston alongside Nikk Mager and Matthew Pateman. To date, the group have released four albums, three of which have charted in the Official UK Albums Chart. Their 2017 album '' The F-Z of Pop'' reached No.25, becoming the highest-charting Bucks Fizz related album in 33 years. Alistair Richard Griffin (born 1 November 1977) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Already an established songwriter, he first became famous as a solo artist through his appearances on the BBC television show ''Fame Academy 2'' in 2003, where he was mentored by Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. Judie Tzuke
Judie Tzuke ( ; born Judie Myers, 3 April 1956) is an English singer-songwriter. She is best known for her 1979 hit "Stay with Me till Dawn", which reached number 16 on the UK singles chart.
