Phittayaporn Chaiwan
Lalinrat Chaiwan (; born Pattarasuda Chaiwan (), 21 February 2001) is a Thai badminton player. She has shown her talent as a badminton player in the junior event tournament. She changed her first name to Phittayaporn () after visiting a temple for prayers for a brighter career in badminton. She was crowned champion at the Grand Prix junior tournament in 2017 India and 2018 German, also occupied the girls' singles number 1 in the BWF World Junior Ranking. Born in Lampang Province, Chaiwan was the silver medalist at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships, where she was before won the Junior U–15 Championships in 2015, and U–17 in 2016. She was part of the national team that won the gold medal at the 2017 SEA Games in the women's team event. She represented her country at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, won a bronze medal in the girls' singles event. Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. The 2019 BWF World Junior Championships was the twenty-first edition of the BWF World Junior Championships. It was held in Kazan, Russia at the Kazan Gymnastics Center from 30 September to 13 October 2019. Host city selection The original winner of the bid was Prague, Czech Republic, which was awarded the event in November 2017 during Badminton World Federation meeting at Jamaica, with Tipsport Arena (Prague), Tipsport Arena as the proposed venue. Prague later withdrew and the Badminton World Federation later re-awarded the event to Kazan in November 2018 during the announcement of 18 major badminton event hosts from 2019 to 2025. The 2016 BWF World Junior Championships is the eighteenth tournament of the BWF World Junior Championships. It was held in Bilbao, Spain at the Bilbao Arena between 2–12 November 2016. Host city selection Bilbao (Spain) and Yogyakarta (Indonesia) submitted bids to host the competition. Badminton World Federation later awarded the event to Bilbao while Yogyakarta was appointed as host for the next edition. The BWF World Junior Championships, also known as the World Junior Badminton Championships, is a tournament organized by the Badminton World Federation to crown the best junior badminton players (U-19) in the world. The championship is held annually and consists of two separate competitions: a mixed team championship (Suhandinata Cup) followed by an individual championship (Eye Level Cups). Qualification A total of 32 athletes will participate in each gender. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can enter a maximum of 2 competitors per gender should they both rank in the top 4 in the BWF Junior World Rankings.
