Phillip Pratt
Phillip R. Pratt (born May 12, 1955) is an American politician and Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from Kentucky's 62nd House district since January 2017. His district consists of part of Scott County. Pratt is not seeking reelection in 2024. Background Pratt graduated from Scott County High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from the University of Kentucky. While at UK, Pratt was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. After graduation, Pratt was employed as an assistant manager for Southern States Cooperative and afterwards spent ten years as a location manager for Cargill. Today, Pratt is the owner and president of Pratt's Lawn and Landscape, a family business that he began with his two sons in 1995. Matt Bevin
Matthew Griswold Bevin (; born January 9, 1967) is an American businessman and politician who served as the 62nd governor of Kentucky, from 2015 to 2019. He was the third Republican elected Kentucky governor since World War II, after Ernie Fletcher (2003–2007) and Louie Nunn (1967–1971). Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Shelburne, New Hampshire, Bevin earned a bachelor's degree at Washington and Lee University in 1989, then served four years of active duty in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of captain. He became wealthy in the investment business and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, in 1999. He was president of Bevin Brothers Manufacturing Company, one of the last remaining American bell foundries. The 2018 Kentucky House of Representatives elections were held on November 6, 2018, as part of the biennial United States elections. All 100 of Kentucky's state representatives were up for reelection. In Kentucky, members of the House of Representatives serve two-year terms. Accordingly, they are up for reelection in both presidential and midterm election years. The 2016 Kentucky House of Representatives elections were held on November 8, 2016, as part of the biennial United States elections. All 100 of Kentucky's state representatives were up for reelection. In Kentucky, members of the House of Representatives serve two-year terms.
