Alice Marie Yvonne Philippot
Alice Phillipot (Alice Rahon) (8 June 1904 – September 1987) was a French-born Mexican poet and artist whose work contributed to the beginning of abstract expression in Mexico. She began as a surrealist poet in Europe but began painting in Mexico. She was a prolific artist from the late 1940s to the 1960s, exhibiting frequently in Mexico and the United States, with a wide circle of friends in these two countries. Her work remained tied to surrealism but was also innovative, including abstract elements and the use of techniques such as sgraffito and the use of sand for texture. She became isolated in her later life due to health issues. Charles Louis Philippot
Charles Louis Philippot, also known as Karl Ludwig Philippot, (1 October 1801 - 31 December 1859) was a French artist who primarily worked in Český Krumlov. Philippot was born in Sainte-Menehould, France. In 1833, he set up a studio in Linz. He remained in Linz until 1839, when he became the Court Painter to Prince Schwarzenberg at Český Krumlov. During his service to the House of Schwarzenberg, he painted portraits of many prominent members of the Rosenberg family, Eggenberg family, and Schwarzenberg family. He also painted the altarpieces in the chapel of Český Krumlov Castle. He died in Český Krumlov on 31 December 1859. References External links

Jean-Paul Philippot (born June 26, 1960) is the current administrator-general of RTBF, Radio télévision belge de la communauté française (RTBF) and a former president on the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Background Born in Liège, Belgium, on 26 June 1960, Philippot graduated in Commercial Engineering from the Solvay Business School of the Université libre de Bruxelles in 1984. Career Philippot was appointed administrator general of the RTBF in 2002 and immediately embarked on a policy of retrenchment and centralisation recommended by Andersen Consulting, which led to strikes and protests.
