Philippe Verdier
Philippe Verdier (born 23 May 1968) is a French radio and television weather presenter, and the author of ''Climat Investigation'', a 2015 book critical of the politics of global warming. Early life and career Verdier was born at Neuilly-sur-Seine, near Paris. At the age of fourteen he began to present a radio show. In 1992 he began broadcasting on Radio France Internationale (RFI) and went on to be a shipping weather man on France 2. 2007 United Nations Climate Change Conference
__NOTOC__ The 2007 United Nations Climate Change Conference took place at the Bali International Conference Centre, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, between December 3 and December 15, 2007 (though originally planned to end on 14 December). Representatives from over 180 countries attended, together with observers from intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations. The conference encompassed meetings of several bodies, including the 13th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 13), the 3rd Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (MOP 3 or CMP 3), together with other subsidiary bodies and a meeting of ministers. Negotiations on a successor to the Kyoto Protocol dominated the conference. RT (formerly Russia Today or Rossiya Segodnya (russian: Россия Сегодня) is a Russian state-controlled international news television network funded by the Russian government. Delphine Ernotte (; born 28 July 1966) is a French telecommunications and media executive. She is the chief executive officer of France Télévisions, the President of the European Broadcasting Union, and a former executive at Orange S.A. Early life Delphine Ernotte was born Delphine Cunci in Bayonne, France on 28 July 1966. Both her parents, Roger Cunci and Simone Brana, were physicians. Her maternal grandfather, Jean-Pierre Brana, served as the mayor of Bayonne. She is of Corsican descent on her maternal side. The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21 or CMP 11 was held in Paris, France, from 30 November to 12 December 2015. It was the 21st yearly session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th session of the Meeting of the Parties (CMP) to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The conference negotiated the Paris Agreement, a global agreement on the reduction of climate change, the text of which represented a consensus of the representatives of the 196 attending parties. François Hollande
François Gérard Georges Nicolas Hollande (; born 12 August 1954) is a French politician who served as President of France from 2012 to 2017. An open letter is a letter that is intended to be read by a wide audience, or a letter intended for an individual, but that is nonetheless widely distributed intentionally. Open letters usually take the form of a letter addressed to an individual but provided to the public through newspapers and other media, such as a letter to the editor or blog. Especially common are critical open letters addressed to political leaders. Letters patent are another form of open letter in which a legal document is both mailed to a person by the government and publicized so that all are made aware of it.
